This major renovation/addition for a small family in the Cleveland Park neighborhood of Nashville, spanned both floors of their craftsman-style home. Perhaps our favorite elements came through the local craftsmen we called upon to construct a freestanding slat wall with GoNoodle’s logo, along with custom booth seating in the lunchroom and massive steel planters to add life and energy to the open office concept. We designed six conference rooms, each with its own color palette and personality, to reflect the company’s branding, then collaborated on playful graphics with a local muralist to add color and geometry to the building’s beautiful exposed brick and other areas. The philosophy for this tech company focused on ‘movement for kids’ is that work environments should be playful, fun and a little irreverent.
#NASHVILLE GRAPHIC DESIGN STUDIO FULL#
Working from the blank canvas of a gutted 12,000 square foot space meant a complete start-to-finish design-everything from space planning and full construction documents, to dreaming up architectural elements that offer distinct and inspiring work zones, all the way to finishes and furnishings suited to a team of creatives. After furnishing three distinct lounge areas in their former commercial space, our friends at GoNoodle brought us back to design their expansive new offices on the top floor of Nashville’s Cummins Station.
